We have just returned from a trip to South America and Antarctica.

The Chilean Fjords are beautiful, and the wines are delicious!

Isla Magdalena was amazing. To be able to walk among 10,000 to 20,000 penguins that had no fear of you at all was an incredible experience. The next port was Ishuaia in Argentina, then around The Horn.

The weather ranged from snow to fog to sunshine. Every day was an adventure, with the itinery of the cruise changing daily due to weather conditions or icebergs that happened to be in our path.

We have left the icebergs behind and are now looking forward to warmer weather! Fish & chips and British beer in Stanley was a change from the rich food on board.
